The World Startup Festival (WSF) was founded on the belief that startups need a self-sustaining community comprising startups, investors, corporations, government and civil society into one single platform
The International Board (IB) is the highest governing entity of the World Startup Festival that charts the global entrepreneurship agenda. They determine the upcoming topics and trends, and design the overall strategy and roadmap of the global startup ecosystem, mooted during the annual IB meeting convened a day prior to the annual Festival.
Ambassadors
WSF Ambassadors are the representatives of the various regional startup ecosystems, working together with governments and corporate partners. They function as emissaries connecting regional stakeholders with WSF.

The WSF Secretariat holds the executive function of the World Startup Festival, that runs the administrative and operational aspects of WSF.
WSF consists of a dynamic, young and professional team from Europe, Asia and Africa who are trained in international business, strategic planning, media and communication, digital marketing and research. WSF Secretariat comprise several departments namely Corporate Strategy and Development, Startup Development and Growth, Startup Training and Trainers, Print and Digital Media, International Board and Ambassadors.
